This scientific degree is the highest degree of the "IEEE" Institute, and achieving this degree depends on the important role in promoting and applying science and technology in the contemporary world in a way that leads to raising the quality of life and values of human societies.
With more than 2 decades of continuous scientific efforts in controlling microgrids, Dr. Hassan Bevrani succeeded in obtaining this outstanding scientific degree.

It should be noted that in the international academic communities, the standard for comparing leading universities in electrical and computer engineering is the number of people with this scientific degree, and previously in Iran, 3 other scientists have succeeded in obtaining this degree, and now with the selection of Dr. Hassan Bevrani and a member of the Academic staff of Semnan University in 2022, the number of these scientists in Iran increased to five.
