According to a report by the University of Kurdistan Public Relations, Dr. Adel Sio-se-mardeh, President of the University, officially designated Dr. Jamal Arkat for this position effective December 28, 2025 (7 Dey 1404). This appointment is predicated on his demonstrated commitment, academic excellence, and significant experience within the sphere of higher education.

It is noted that Dr. Arkat will assume this strategic responsibility while continuing to fulfill his existing academic, research, and administrative obligations.
