According to the Public Relations Office of the University of Kurdistan, Dr. Jalil Fathi, a faculty member of the Department of English Language and Literature and Linguistics, was chosen as one of the country's top researchers, technologists, and innovators for the year 1404 (2025-2026).

This selection was made during the 26th edition of the "National Festival for Honoring Distinguished Researchers and Technologists," an annual event that identifies the country's scientific elite through a rigorous and meticulous evaluation of the research achievements of scholars from across Iran.
